Dr. Mutshidzi Mulondo
About me
Dr Mutshidzi Mulondo is an award-winning Global Health Academic and Science Diplomat part of the pioneering team instrumental in establishing the first Division of Public Health at the University of the Free State, South Africa. A former visiting scholar at the Beaver College of Health Sciences, Appalachian State University, USA. She is a member of UNESCO's Action group for women in science, the South African Young Academy of Science and Global Young Academy- network institution of the United Nations Scientific Advisory Board.
She is a recipient of the Zenith Global Health Award, South African Health Excellence Award, South Africa's Young Science Diplomat Award, Leadership Luminary Award, among others.

She made history twice at her institution as the first to complete an interdisciplinary PhD in Health Professions Education and Community Health; she was also the first to be accepted to the prestigious Global Young Academy.
She is a recipient of the Zenith Global Health Award, South African Health Excellence Award, South Africa's Young Science Diplomat Award, Leadership Luminary Award, among others. She has represented her country in multilateral platforms such as the African Union (AU), United Nations (UN) and G20.
