About me

Nahla Al-Bayyari is an Associate Professor of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Al-Balqa Applied University. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a master’s in Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health, and a bachelor’s in Public Health Nutrition. She was a 2023–2024 Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Michigan and has received prestigious awards, including the Erasmus+ International Credit Staff Mobility grant (University of Santiago de Compostela, 2019–2020) and the Jordan Nutrition Innovation Lab Fellowship (Tufts University, 2022).
Her research covers public health, nutrition, dietetics, infertility, and maternal and child health. Dr. Al-Bayyari serves on editorial boards, contributes actively to professional nutrition associations, and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals. She is currently leading research on malnutrition among gastrointestinal cancer patients.
