About me
Narcisa Urgiles Gomez is an Agricultural Engineer from National University of Loja, Ecuador, Dra or Ph.D. in Renewable Natural Resources from Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), Munich, Germany. At the present time, teacher – researcher in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Renewable Natural Resources at the National University of Loja, Ecuador. Her research focuses on Andean agrobiodiversity (particularly native Ecuadorian potato varieties) and agroforestry associated with mycorrhizal symbiotic microorganisms, She coordinates internal and inter-institutional research projects funded through competitive grants. She is a lead author and co-author of books, book chapters, and scientific articles in Scopus, WoS, and Latindex-indexed journals, as well as conference proceedings, technical publications (manuals, guides, brochures), and technical and scientific posters in the fields of agrobiodiversity and agroforestry.
