About me

Natalie Guthrie (formerly James) is a Biostatistician and Lecturer at the Caribbean Institute for Health Research (CAIHR) at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona campus in Jamaica. She has an MSc in Biostatistics and is also trained in Mathematics and Education. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Epidemiology at the UWI, with a focus on developing predictive statistical models for climate sensitive diseases such as dengue, in the development of early warning systems. Ms. Guthrie has collaborated with members of the University of the West Indies Mona Climate Studies Group, the Lancet Countdown Regional Centre for Small Island Developing States, and the NIHR Group on Global Diet and Activity Research

Natalie Guthrie is a Biostatistician and Lecturer at the Caribbean Institute for Health Research (CAIHR) at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona campus in Jamaica. She has collaborated with members of the University of the West Indies Mona Climate Studies Group, the Lancet Countdown Regional Centre for Small Island Developing States, and the NIHR Group on Global Diet and Activity Research. Ms Guthrie is currently pursuing her PhD in Epidemiology at the UWI, with a focus on developing predictive statistical models for climate sensitive diseases such as dengue, in the development of early warning systems.
