Dr. Neveen Wajih Shalalfa is a Palestinian family medicine specialist, public health researcher, epidemiologist, and endocrinology fellow. She serves as Head of Primary Healthcare Centers in North Hebron, Assistant Professor at Palestine Polytechnic University, and Founder/Director of the Disease Awareness and Prevention initiative. Her work focuses on diabetes care, women’s health, mental health, NCD prevention, community health education, and sustaining scientific and public health work during crises.

She serves as Head of Primary Healthcare Centers in the North Hebron Directorate at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Assistant Professor at Palestine Polytechnic University, and Founder/Director of the Disease Awareness and Prevention (DAP) initiative. Her work combines clinical care, academic teaching, scientific writing, community health leadership, and preventive health education. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and international discussions on women in science, displacement, and sustaining health knowledge during crisis.
