BA (UWC) Majoring in Psychology; BA Honours in Psychology (UWC)
I am a Psychology Honours student at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa with a strong interest in neurodevelopment, mental health, and the social determinants of psychological wellbeing. My work and research interests lie at the intersection of psychology, medical anthropology, and neuroscience, particularly in understanding how socio-economic conditions and structural inequalities shape cognitive development and mental health outcomes. Beyond my studies, I am actively involved in student leadership, mental health advocacy, and community-based initiatives focused on youth empowerment and educational access. I am passionate about fostering inclusive spaces within psychology and contributing to scholarship that advances social justice, reciprocal care, and culturally grounded approaches to health and wellbeing.
