Ms. Pamela Ondiek
About me
I am a graduate student in the Chemistry Department at UIC. My research focuses on addressing global challenges at the intersection of science, sustainability, and innovation. My interests include developing materials for Environmental Remediation and Water Purification, and using affordable technologies to create practical, sustainable solutions that improve community well-being.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education with a specialization in Chemistry and Biology, graduating with First Class Honours, and I am currently a graduate student focused on developing materials for environmental remediation. I have published scholarly work indexed on Google Scholar, reflecting my engagement in research and knowledge dissemination. My goal is to become a scientist whose work addresses environmental challenges while promoting equity in science education, particularly by expanding access for women and girls from marginalized communities and supporting learners with special needs to achieve excellence in science.
