RAHMOUNE Fazia
About me
Prof. Fazia Rahmoune-Aoudia is a Full Professor and Research Director in Applied Mathematics at the University of Béjaïa, Algeria. She obtained her PhD (Doctorate in Sciences) in Applied Mathematics in 2008 and her Habilitation to Supervise Research (HDR) in 2016.
Her research focuses on stochastic modelling, operations research, queueing theory, optimization, mathematical modelling, decision support systems, and artificial intelligence, with applications to intelligent transportation systems, inventory management, and performance evaluation. She has authored numerous scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at international conferences.
Prof. Rahmoune-Aoudia supervises PhD and Master's students and is actively involved in national and international research collaborations. She serves as a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews (MathSciNet) of the American Mathematical Society and is committed to advancing applied mathematics and promoting interdisciplinary research that addresses real-world societal challenges.
