Mgtr. Rosalynn Ramirez

Rosalynn Elizabeth Ramírez Villacrés is an Ecuadorian professional with extensive experience in management systems, quality assurance, conformity assessment, organizational management, and higher education. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a degree in Business Engineering and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Business Administration.

She currently works at Universidad Tecnológica ECOTEC, where she leads and supports institutional planning, academic quality assurance, internal evaluation, continuous improvement, and national and international accreditation processes. She also teaches Quality Management and contributes to the development of institutional policies, procedures, indicators, and improvement plans.

Before joining the higher education sector, she developed a twenty-year career at SGS Ecuador, where she held several positions of increasing responsibility, including Management Systems Certification Manager. Her experience includes management systems certification, auditing, conformity assessment, strategic planning, risk management, operational performance, and organizational improvement. She has also served as a member of the Technical Committee for Management Systems of the Ecuadorian Accreditation Service.

Her current academic and research interests focus on quality systems, dynamic capabilities, predictive analytics, human capital planning, institutional sustainability, and evidence-based decision-making in higher education and organizations. Through her participation in the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), she seeks to strengthen her research capabilities, collaborate with women researchers from different countries, and contribute to the development of knowledge with practical and social impact.
