Through experimental research I study the relationships between cognition-emotion and their neural correlates. During my doctoral training I studied the bidirectional influence of emotional language and inhibitory processes using techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG) and the analysis of Event Related Potentials (ERPs), as well as the estimation analysis of brain sources. My research interests include: semantic processing of emotional words, emotional regulation, emotion and decision making, emotion and language.
