About me
+10 years experienced Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics High school teacher, also Master in Healthcare system management, I co-cordinate the Ecology club of my school. I interested in making change in the new generation by teaching them about Climate change education and sustainable practices to implement in our community.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from UPNFM and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Systems Management from UNITEC. Currently, I work as a Science and Biology teacher at the middle- and high-school level, where I not only guide my students through lab practices but also design inclusive strategies to support learners with diverse needs.
Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about climate education and empowering young people to take action. I co-coordinate my school’s Ecology Club, where we introduce students to the realities of climate change and the importance of sustainable practices in daily life. Through the club, our students have engaged in hands-on projects such as tree planting, water purification seminars, and community clean-up activities — including a cleaning campaign in a Honduran monument (Juana Lainez). We have also partnered with organizations such as LEGO Education and Climate Action Schools to broaden our impact and connect students with global movements for sustainability.
My work is driven by the belief that education is a powerful tool to inspire climate action and social change. By integrating environmental awareness into science learning and creating opportunities for civic engagement, I strive to help students see themselves as active agents of transformation in their communities and beyond.
I continue to expand my knowledge on climate change to strengthen the content I bring into my classes and extracurricular activities. I would like to develop research focused on climate education, exploring how schools can better prepare the next generation to respond to environmental challenges.
