About me

I am working as an associate professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. My research interests include a comprehensive elucidation of molecular mechanisms underlying cellular responses to microbial infections, cancer, and autoimmune diseases, in terms of the function of the sensing molecules in the innate immune system. I am very keen to explore the immeasurable field of molecular and cellular biology with a major focus on understanding the core mechanisms of human diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurological disorders. My academic training and research experiences so far have provided me with an excellent background in multiple biological disciplines, including immunology, virology, bioinformatics, cancer biology, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics. I want to utilize my expertise to develop therapeutic approaches to reverse or circumvent pathophysiological processes in human diseases associated with pattern recognition receptors by exploring the biological roles of those in different cellular processes and their underlying molecular pathways.
