Dr Tahmina Maqbool
About me
Dr. Tahmina Maqbool** is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan. She earned her PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Karachi in 2025. Her research focuses on advanced drug delivery systems, gastroretentive controlled-release formulations, pharmaceutical formulation development, and physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling. She has extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, and serves as Student Advisor and Faculty Focal Person for the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC). She is actively involved in research publications, student mentorship, and promoting innovation in pharmaceutical sciences.
