Dr. Triveena M. Ramsis is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Sinai University, Kantara Branch, Egypt. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the German University in Cairo. Her research focuses on the development of multi-target therapeutics for complex diseases, including cancer, Alzheimer's, and microbial infections. She has authored over 14 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact Q1/Q2 journals, with over 200 citations and an h-index of 7. Dr. Ramsis has secured international research funding as a Co-Principle Investigator on an STDF-CDTI project and serves on the editorial board of Letters in Drug Design & Discovery. She is actively involved in academic advising, quality assurance, conference organization, and mentoring student innovators, including serving as a judge at the first Unleash Hackathon in Egypt.

Dr. Triveena M. Ramsis is a distinguished Pharmaceutical Chemist and Drug Discovery Researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Sinai University, Kantara Branch, Egypt. Her career is built on a profound commitment to advancing medicinal chemistry through innovative research, academic excellence, and a dedication to the integrity of scientific publishing.
Dr. Ramsis earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Biotechnology, followed by a M.Sc and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, from the German University in Cairo (GUC). Collectively, her graduate research has contributed significantly to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for serious diseases, addressing critical challenges in antiviral and anticancer drug discovery where treatment options remain limited due to emerging resistance.
As an educator and academic leader, Dr. Ramsis has cultivated a rich teaching portfolio that includes Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Design, Computer-Aided Drug Design, and Pharmaceutical Quality Control. Since joining Sinai University in 2021, she has been involved not only in delivering lectures and designing curricula but also in administrative and quality assurance roles. She actively contributes to the Strategic Planning and Measurement and Assessment Units, serves as a department quality coordinator, and participates in examination invigilation. Beyond these responsibilities, Dr. Ramsis is deeply committed to student development, serving as an Academic Advisor and dedicated mentor to students under probation, providing guidance and support to help them improve their academic performance and successfully complete their studies.
Dr. Ramsis is an active researcher with a rapidly growing impact in her field. She is the author of more than 14 peer-reviewed publications, predominantly in high-impact Q1 and Q2 international journals such as the European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Frontiers in Pharmacology, and Bioorganic Chemistry. Her research expertise lies at the intersection of synthetic chemistry and computational biology, focusing on the rational design and multi-target therapeutic development of novel compounds for complex diseases, including cancer, Alzheimer's disease, microbial infections, and inflammatory conditions. Her scholarly contributions are widely recognized, with over 200 citations and an h-index of 7.
Her scientific leadership extends beyond the lab bench. Dr. Ramsis has successfully secured research funding as a Co-Principle Investigator on a prestigious international project under the Spanish-Egyptian Innovation Programme (ESIP) 9th call, a collaborative initiative supported by Egypt's Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) and Spain's Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI). She is also an active contributor to the global scientific community, having served as an organizer for the 1st International Conference on Pharmaceutical and Bio-Medical Research at Sinai University. In addition to this organizational role, she maintains a strong presence in the academic sphere by regularly attending numerous international electronic and in-person conferences, presenting her own research abstracts.
Beyond these contributions, Dr. Ramsis serves on the editorial board of Letters in Drug Design & Discovery and is a trusted peer reviewer for several international journals. Her commitment to maintaining high standards in science is further demonstrated by her extensive training in scientific publishing and peer review through programs offered by Nature Research Academies. Her international perspective has been shaped by prestigious scholarships, including a DAAD-BMBF-GUC bilateral scholarship for research at Ulm University in Germany.
Dr. Ramsis is also deeply engaged in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among young talent. She served as a Judge at the First Unleash Hackathon in Egypt, titled "Unleash Hack Sinai: Towards Better Health Literacy," held at Sinai University-Kantara Branch in August 2024. In this role, she evaluated student-developed prototypes and provided strategic guidance to support their development, reflecting her dedication to nurturing the next generation of innovators and advancing health literacy through interdisciplinary collaboration.
