Tuba Nafees is Co-founder and Program Manager at The Weaving Seeds, an initiative promoting eco-conscious mindsets and sustainable education. A double gold medalist in Biotechnology from the University of Karachi, she blends scientific expertise with community engagement to address environmental challenges. She is also an award-winning poetess and a growing voice in AI.
Tuba Nafees is Co-founder and Program Manager at The Weaving Seeds, an initiative dedicated to nurturing eco-conscious mindsets and sustainable education. A double gold medalist in Biotechnology from the University of Karachi, she specialized in plant biotechnology research, published in the Pakistan Journal of Botany, and has written for The Express Tribune and several Urdu and English anthologies.
She previously served as General Secretary of the Sindh Biotechnologists Association, and brings that same organizing instinct to her current work — combining project management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engagement to tackle environmental challenges.
Outside her scientific work, Tuba is an award-winning poetess and a growing voice in AI, exploring how emerging technology can accelerate the sustainability work she's spent her career pursuing.
