Iam *Dr. Walaa Abdallah Gad*, a researcher at the Veterinary Research Institute, National Research Centre (NRC), Egypt, specializing in infectious diseases, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, immunology, and bioinformatics. My research focuses on developing innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for veterinary infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, molecular epidemiology, and One Health applications. I have extensive experience in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, real-time PCR, sequencing, gene expression analysis, immunological assays, and bioinformatics.
During the past year, I have significantly expanded my scientific contributions through research, publishing, and academic editing. I currently serve as an Editor of an international scientific book and have authored eight book chapters, three review articles, and Ten original research articles, reflecting my commitment to advancing knowledge in veterinary medicine and molecular biosciences. My research interests include rapid molecular diagnostics, CRISPR-based technologies, isothermal amplification techniques, epigenetics, precision veterinary medicine, and artificial intelligence applications in biomedical research.
Beyond research, I actively organize and deliver scientific workshops and professional training programs on molecular diagnostics, gene expression analysis, bioinformatics, and advanced laboratory techniques for researchers and veterinary professionals. I also serve as a peer reviewer for international scientific journals, contributing to the advancement of high-quality scientific publishing. My long-term goal is to bridge laboratory innovation with practical veterinary applications by developing affordable, rapid, and sustainable diagnostic solutions that improve animal health, reduce antimicrobial resistance, and support global One Health initiatives through interdisciplinary collaboration and translational research.
