About me
Yeni Dwi Rahayu is a lecturer in Informatics Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, Indonesia. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, multimodal deception detection, affective computing, speech analysis, computer vision, and privacy-preserving physiological signal analysis. She is currently developing research on rPPG-based physiological proxy enrichment for multimodal human behavior datasets, with attention to ethical data governance, fairness, and responsible AI. As a woman in STEM from Indonesia, she is committed to advancing inclusive scientific collaboration and increasing the visibility of women researchers from developing countries.
Yeni Dwi Rahayu is a lecturer in Informatics Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, Indonesia. Her academic interests include artificial intelligence, multimodal data analysis, affective computing, speech analysis, computer vision, deception detection, and privacy-preserving physiological signal analysis.
Her current research focuses on multimodal deception detection and human behavior analysis using audio, visual, textual, personality, and physiological proxy features. She is developing a research framework for rPPG-based physiological proxy enrichment of a multiethnic Indonesian multimodal dataset, with particular attention to ethical data governance, privacy protection, fairness-aware analysis, and responsible AI. Her work aims to strengthen the scientific validity of sensitive human behavior datasets while avoiding the release of raw videos or identifiable visual information.
As a woman in STEM from Indonesia, she is committed to contributing to inclusive scientific development, especially by increasing the visibility and participation of women researchers in computing, artificial intelligence, and data science. She is also interested in promoting responsible and ethical research practices, supporting international collaboration, and developing research outputs that can benefit education, technology, and society in developing countries.
