*OWSD, Lagos State University Branch in Collaboration with GOPA-GIZ AND HOPE BUILDERS FOUNDATION CELEBRATE UN DAY FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SCIENCE* As part of activities to mark this year's United Nations International Day for Women and Girls in Science, the Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World (OSWD), LASU Branch, in conjunction with GOPA-GIZ and Hope Builders Foundation held a rally today on the Main Campus. The theme of this year's programme, "Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: Water Unites Us" was the message as members of the OWSD led by Prof. Omolade Okwa and those of the GOPA-GIZ led by Mrs. Folayemisi Adu, respectively, walked round the campus. They also paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, who is also the OSWD's matron at her office at the Senate Building.Event
