Nos enorgullece reconocer los logros sobresalientes de las integrantes de nuestro capítulo que han sido elegidas para roles políticos significativos en Guatemala. La Congresista Victoria Godoy Palala, la Vice Ministra de Desarrollo Social Ma. Alejandra Menaldo y Diana Benavides, quien ahora se desempeña como Secretaria Administrativa-Financiera Adjunta del Presidente. Además, Patricia Lucki ha sido nombrada Presidenta de la Comisión Técnica Sectorial de Salud, Ma. Alejandra Sierra nombrada Presidenta de la Comisión Técnica de Biotecnología, e Isabella García como su Secretaria, dentro del Sistema Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (SINCYT). Además, Gabriela Montenegro como Secretaria Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (SENACYT).

We proudly recognize the remarkable accomplishments of our chapter members who have been elected to significant political roles in Guatemala! Congresswoman Victoria Godoy Palala, Vice Minister of Social Development Ma. Alejandra Menaldo, and Diana Benavides, who now serves as the Administrative-Financial Deputy Secretary to the President. Additionally, Patricia Lucki has been appointed President of the Sectoral Technical Commission on Health, Ma. Alejandra Sierra appointed President of the Biotechnology Technical Commission, and Isabella García as its Secretary, within the National System of Science and Technology (SINCYT). Furthermore, Gabriela Montenegro as the National Secretary of Science and Technology (SENACYT).
