About me

I hold a Bachelor's of Education (B. Ed) in Biology Education from Osun State College of Education in affiliation with University of Ibadan and later obtained a Master's of Education (M.Ed) in Science Education from University of Ibadan with research in environmental sustainability and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Genetics and Biotechnology from University of Medical Sciences, Ondo with focus on Cardioprotective effects Of Launaea taraxacifolia leaf extract on oxidative stress
and histopathological changes in diabetic cardiomyopathy in streptozocin (Stz)-induced in wistar rats.

I am an emerging researcher with a strong academic background in Science Education, Environmental Sustainability, ty and Biomedical research. I hold a Bachelor's of Education (B. Ed) in Biology Education from Osun State College of Education in affiliation with the University of Ibadan where my undergraduate research examined the influence of educational media on the academic performance of biology students in secondary schools in Ondo West Local Government Area.
I later obtained a Master's of Education (M. Ed) in Science Education where I specialize in environmental education. My postgraduate research focuses on Pre-service teachers' perception of waste disposal, environmental pollution, and environmental attitudes, knowledge, and practices in colleges of education in southwest Nigeria, contributing to improving understanding of environmental awareness and sustainability education.
Building on my passion for scientific research and real-world problem-solving, I'm currently pursuing a second master's degree in Genetics and Biotechnology. My ongoing research investigates the Cardioprotective effects of Launaea taraxacifolia leaf extract on oxidative stress
and histopathological changes in diabetic cardiomyopathy in streptozotocin (Stz)-induced in Wistar rats to explore potential plant-based therapeutic interventions for metabolic and cardiovascular complications.

In addition, I have gained practical laboratory experience in biochemical assays, toxicity studies, and experimental animal handling, I also have strong skills in data analysis.
Furthermore, my academic journey reflects a unique integration of education and biomedical sciences, positioning me to contribute to both knowledge development and practical solutions in health and environmental sustainability.
My research interests include environmental health, oxidative stress, metabolic disorders, natural product pharmacology, and the application of scientific education to drive sustainable development.
I am committed to advancing research that bridges the gap between Environmental awareness and human health outcomes particularly within the context of developing countries.
