About me

Animal biotechnology research addresses critical challenges in livestock productivity, genetic erosion, and the limited application of biotechnology in developing agricultural systems. molecular and quantitative genetic tools help to improve indigenous animal breeds, enhance genetic diversity, and promote sustainable livestock production.

Collaborations with scientists and peers across disciplines will enable us to explore innovative solutions for food security and climate resilience. This will encourage scientific community fostering knowledge exchange and empowering other young researchers, particularly women, to pursue impactful careers in animal science and biotechnology. By bridging traditional breeding practices with modern genomic technologies.

I, Orindu Adaeze Naomi a Ph.D. student in Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Biotechnology, with research interests in genetic improvement, molecular breeding, and livestock biodiversity conservation. My work is focused on applying advanced genetic and biotechnological tools to enhance productivity and sustainability in animal agriculture. I am dedicated to contributing to scientific excellence, promoting innovation in agricultural research, and in supporting and participating in technology advancement.
