About me
Dr Adebola Iyabode Akinjokun is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Sciences at Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Nigeria. She holds a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Her research focuses on environmental remediation, adsorption science, and the development of sustainable materials for water and wastewater treatment, particularly biomass-derived zeolites and biopolymer composites for the removal of heavy metals, microplastics, and other emerging contaminants. She is passionate about advancing sustainable environmental technologies and promoting the participation of women and girls in STEM.
