About me

Aishat Abdulqadir Yusuf, Ph.D., is a Lecturer I in the Department of Science Education at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, with specialization in Physics Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Science Education and has research interests in innovative teaching approaches, science and physics education, educational technology, sustainability and teacher education. Her research includes the application of the Reggio Emilia approach to improve the teaching and learning of physics-related concepts in basic and secondary schools. She is an active researcher, educator and member of several professional and academic associations.

Dr. Aishat Abdulqadir Yusuf is a Lecturer I in the Department of Science Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria, specializing in Physics Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Science Education and has over a decade of experience in teaching, research and academic service.
Her research interests include innovative teaching approaches, Physics and Science Education, educational technology, teacher education, sustainability and the application of learner-centred pedagogies such as the Reggio Emilia approach. Her scholarly work focuses on improving students’ engagement, achievement and learning experiences in science and physics.
Dr. Yusuf is an active researcher with publications in national and international journals and has presented her research at several academic conferences. She is also a recipient of the IBR-TETFund Grant and several international recognitions for her contributions to education and research.
She is passionate about promoting innovative, inclusive, and sustainable science education and contributing to the development of effective teachers and learners in Nigeria and beyond.
