About me
Assistant professor (Physics) at Universidade Federal do Paraná - Brazil, since 2018. She has experience in scattering calculations using the Schwinger Multichannel method for electron- and positron-molecule collisions. She also works with advanced electronic structure methods to study electronic excitation and photoabsorption spectra. Alessandra has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles (h-index 11, Google Scholar), collaborates internationally, and supervises undergraduate and graduate students.
She is also engaged in research and outreach focused on gender issues in science, particularly the participation, retention, and advancement of women in scientific careers.
