Professor Arinola E. Joda FPSN, FPCPharm, SCPAN is a Clinical Pharmacist with specialization in Pharmacy Practice and Rational Drugs Use in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Biopharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lagos, Nigeria. Arinola has garnered over 20 years of teaching and research experience with focus on operations and health systems, pharmacy practice and public health research. She is currently Vice President/Treasurer of the African Pharmaceutical Forum (APF), the African regional forum of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and chairs the task force charged with setting up an Africa-wide Association of Schools of Pharmacy. She is also an Executive Committee Member of the Academic Pharmacy Section of FIP. She obtained her B.Pharm. (second class upper division), M.Pharm (with distinction) and her PhD (Clinical Pharmacy) degrees from the University of Lagos in 1994, 2000 and 2012 respectively. She obtained the Fellowship of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP) in 2009 and the Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Benin, Edo State in 2019. She joined the services of the University of Lagos in November 2002 as a Lecturer II and rose to her current position effective from 1st October 2022. Prof. Arinola Joda is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) and has served the Society as its National Editor in Chief, Assistant National Secretary and Publicity Secretary from 2005 – 2008, 2009 – 2012 and 2012 to 2015 respectively. She also serves as Coordinator, Clinical Pharmacists Association of Nigeria (Lagos) and Secretary, Association of Public Health Pharmacists of Nigeria. She has over 40 publications to her name and has presented in conferences both locally and internationally. Dr. Arinola Joda is married with 3 children aged 26, 23 and 21 years respectively.
