About me

#I am a biochemistry and molecular biology graduate with research interests in immunology and vector-borne diseases. I am particularly interested in applying molecular and immunological approaches to address public health challenges in Africa. I am committed to advancing women’s leadership in science and health research.

#I hold a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with applications in biomedical sciences. My academic training provided me with strong foundations in molecular techniques, laboratory research, and basic immunology, with a particular interest in infectious and vector-borne diseases.

My research interests focus on the interface between entomology, immunology, and public health, especially in the context of malaria and other vector-borne diseases in Africa. I am motivated to contribute to innovative and sustainable solutions addressing health challenges affecting vulnerable populations.

As a woman scientist from a developing country, I am strongly committed to capacity building, South–South collaboration, and the promotion of women in science. Joining OWSD represents an important step in strengthening my scientific career and contributing to impactful research in Africa.
