I am an animal scientist with specialization in Animal Reproductive Physiology. My research interest is in the utilization of cheap, available and accessible agricultural biomass wastes into useful mineral supplement to improve the productivity and performance of animals.
My name is Dr. Chinwe Mary Nwogu, a lecturer at the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo, Imo state, Nigeria. i am a prolific researcher with interest in agricultural biomass wastes which poses a serious disposal problems through thermal degradation resulting in bioactive materials that are unique in nature and rich in essential minerals. These bioactive materials serve as cheap, and readily feed additives in livestock and poultry nutrition for improvement of their performance. I am a strong advocate for climate change and gender equality which are critical for the actualization of the sustainable development goals 2030.
