Professor Doaa Gamal
About me
My primary scientific mission is to bridge academic medical knowledge and clinical microbiology practice to address real-world challenges and elevate the quality of patient care.
A core pillar of this mission is education and mentorship. I am actively involved in developing the next generation of medical professionals — guiding junior staff, supporting undergraduate students through structured training programs, and supervising postgraduate researchers in specialized workshops and scientific thesis work.
My research agenda centers on one of medicine’s most pressing crises: antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Through active national and international collaborations — including partnerships with institutions in France, Spain, and Germany — I investigate novel diagnostics and therapeutics, and contribute to the global scientific conversation through publications in peer-reviewed journals
