About me
I am an engineering educator and researcher with 10+ years of teaching and curriculum development experience. With a BSc and MSc in engineering fields and I am currently a PhD student in Railway Engineering (Systems Management) at the African Railway Center of Excellence, Addis Ababa University. I contributed to the development of Ethiopia's first ever MSc curriculum in Electric Mobility at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, where I also served as a lecturer. My research interests focus on sustainable transport systems, risk and reliability analysis, and technology-driven solutions for Ethiopia’s mobility challenges. I am committed to advancing women’s participation in STEM and strengthening evidence-based engineering practice in Ethiopia.
