About me
I am a Public Health Specialist whose research centers on adolescent and community health issues. My work primarily explores behavioral health challenges among young populations, including adolescent aggression, internet addiction, and problematic pornography use. I employ mixed-methods research approaches to better understand the biopsychosocial factors that influence health behaviours. My research interests include artificial intelligence and digital health literacy, mental health stigma reduction, sexual and reproductive health, and health promotion interventions. I have had the opportunity to supervise postgraduate students working on diverse topics such as vaping, mental health help-seeking behaviours, HIV-related stigma, and vaccine hesitancy. Through knowledge transfer projects, I strive to translate research findings into practical community interventions, including awareness programs on internet addiction and child sexual abuse prevention for school counsellors.
