Mrs Hadiza Audi Adamu
About me
Hadiza Audi Adamu is a Lecturer in Chemistry at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Bichi, Kano State, Nigeria, and a PhD researcher in Organic Chemistry. She holds an MSc in Organic Chemistry and specializes in Organic Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, and Medicinal Chemistry.
Her research interests focus on the phytochemical investigation, isolation, characterization, and biological evaluation of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants, with particular interest in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial activities. Her research experience includes the application of HPLC, LC-MS, FTIR, NMR, DPPH, FRAP, TAC, and other spectroscopic and bioassay techniques.
She is also actively involved in teaching, scientific research, academic writing, and the development of research proposals, with a strong interest in translating natural-product research into potential applications in medicine and human health.
