After successfully graduating from high school, Hoor joined University of Peshawar where she received a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology. In 2015 she gained an MPhil in Microbiology (With Distinction) from Khyber Medical University, Peshawar. Since 2016 she has been a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology of Women University Mardan.
I have been involved in many research projects such as: characterization of silver nanoparticles to study their antibacterial potential, Allelopathy, Antimicrobial activity, Leishmania biology - its culturing and maintenance, in-silico studies of non-structural proteins of Congo virus, and in-depth analysis of envelope proteins of HCV. I have been to Turkey in 2017 where I presented my research article in a conference held at Selcuk University. I keep updating my knowledge and skills through participation in seminars, training workshops, and conferences.
