About me

A dedicated and detail-oriented individual with experience in administrative support, education, and advocacy. Over the years, I have gathered skills in organisation, communication, and problem-solving while providing efficient administrative assistance and tutoring. My ability to manage records, coordinate schedules, and facilitate smooth operations has contributed to improved efficiency in the establishments I have served. Additionally, my role as a tutor allowed me to develop strong interpersonal and leadership skills, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Beyond my professional experience, I am passionate about climate leadership, focusing on policies that promote environmental sustainability. I engage in awareness campaigns, participate in discussions on eco-friendly initiatives, and collaborate with like-minded individuals on projects that drive positive change. With a keen interest in research and policy advocacy, I strive to contribute to initiatives that safeguard our environment for future generations.

I am committed to continuous learning, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact in every role I undertake.

I hold a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Ritman University, Ikot Ekpene, Nigeria, where I graduated as the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in 2019. I was honoured with both the Ritman University Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Award and the Faculty Honour Roll. My education was made possible through the Senator Ibokessien Community Scholarship (SICS) Fund, which I earned following my success in the university entrance examination in 2015. During my studies, I served as the Secretary of the Student Union from 2015 to 2017.

I am a member of the American Political Science Association (APSA) and the American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP). As an aspiring graduate student, my research interests lie in gender studies, African politics, public policy, social change, and sustainable development. I am currently developing leadership in climate advocacy with a focus on the role of women in sustainable development. Recently, I contributed a book chapter on climate adaptation as part of the Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change (GIYSCC) project. I am eager to further engage with science and policy initiatives, particularly those addressing challenges and opportunities within the Global South.
