Juliana Pondei has her primary and secondary education in Jos, Nigeria. She has a first degree in Applied Microbiology, Master's degree in Applied Microbiology and Plant Pathology. and a PhD in Environmental Microbiology. She lectures and is a researcher at the University of Abuja, Nigeria. Her expertise cuts across environmental bioremediation, waste management and the use of endophytes in sustainability agriculture and food production. She has various articles in peer review journals and presented conferences papers widely. Her current researches span through her areas of expertise, including AI-integrated researches.
Juliana Pondei was born 11 June 1970 in Jos, Nigeria. She had her first degree in Applied Microbiology from Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa University, Bauchi - Nigeria (1992), Master's degree in Applied Microbiology and Plant Pathology from the University of Jos, Nigeria (1998) and PhD in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria (2019). She has more than 15 years experience in lecturing and research, and currently at the University of Abuja, Nigeria. Her teaching experience cuts across various courses in both undergraduate and Postgraduate Microbiology including Aquatic Microbiology, Microbial Ecology, Environmental Microbiology, Petroleum Microbiology and Biotechnology. Her researches cut across these areas with articles in peer review journals with a Google scholar citation of 50.
