PhD candidate in Education at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), in the research line State, Policies, and History of Education (PPGE/FE/UFG). Member of the Research Group on Technologies and Distance Education – GEaD/CNPq/UFG and of the Research Network on Distance Education in Brazil, Latin America, Mozambique and Portugal. Her research focuses on quality in Distance Education, Artificial Intelligence in Education, and the development of digital citizenship in educational contexts.
Bachelor in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Chemistry and Biology from the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán (UPNFM), Master in Renewable Energy Management from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC), and PhD candidate in Education at the Federal University of Goiás (PPGE/FE/UFG), within the research line State, Policies, and History of Education. She is a GCUB International Mobility Program fellow, supported by CAPES, and a Fulbright TEA Alumni (2020). Secondary Education teacher in Natural Sciences and Basic Education teacher in Mathematics and English in Honduras. Member of the National Executive Committee of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD – Honduras Chapter). Member of the Research Group on Technologies and Distance Education – GEaD/CNPq/UFG and of the Research Network on Distance Education in Brazil, Latin America, Mozambique, and Portugal (UniRede, 2021–2024; CNPq, 2023–2026). She is part of the research team “Artificial Intelligence, Higher Education and Distance Learning: Policies, Inclusion, Scientific Research, Citizenship and Ethics” (2025–present). Her areas of work include Distance Education, Digital Technologies in Education, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Citizenship.
