About me

I am a Chemical Engineer with a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from the University of Arizona, where I studied as a Fulbright Scholar. My work centers on water and wastewater treatment, analytical chemistry, and sustainable process design. I have research experience in Advanced Oxidation Processes and teaching experience in analytical chemistry and environmental engineering.

I am a Chemical Engineer from Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS) with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Arizona, where I was a Fulbright Scholar. My academic and professional background centers on water and wastewater treatment, analytical chemistry, and environmental process design. During my graduate studies, I have conducted research on Advanced Oxidation Processes using singlet oxygen for the degradation of trace organic contaminants. In addition, in Bolivia, I have worked in ISO 17025:2018 accredited laboratories (UNALAB - SENASAG) , performing physicochemical analyses of various food and water samples. I also have teaching experience in general and analytical chemistry, as well as in environmental and process engineering courses at the undergraduate level. Currently, I'm a lecturer in chemistry and analytical chemistry at Universidad Mayor de San Simón and Universidad Privada Boliviana.
