About me

Prof. Dr. Nelly Shafik Ramzy has a PhD in Architectural Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt. She is a professor of History and Theory of Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering, Damanhour University and the first dean of the faculty. Prof. Ramzy is a member of the ICOMOS (International council of Monuments and sites) and the International Association of Coptic Studies and has got several certificates of honor from Egyptian universities for outstanding research works. She has 28 published papers and 5 books and book chapters. Her h-index on Google scholar citation is 10. She is a member of the editorial board in three international journals and a referee in several other journals. She is also a member of the Center of Urban Planning and Architectural Studies, participating in several projects for UN-Habitat in cooperation with GOPP.
