Dr Ngozi Angela Ukangwa
About me
I am a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Biochemistry at Babcock University, Nigeria. My work focuses on molecular biochemistry, biomarker discovery, and RNA-related investigation of human disease, with particular interest in essential hypertension. I have experience in nucleic acid-based techniques such as RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, PCR, and quantitative real-time PCR, and I am passionate about advancing research capacity, student mentorship, and molecular bioscience training in Africa.
I am a molecular biochemistry researcher and lecturer at Babcock University, Nigeria, with a background in molecular and clinical biochemistry.
My research focuses on biomarker discovery, RNA-related disease mechanisms, and the molecular evaluation of essential hypertension. I have built experience in techniques such as RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, PCR, and qPCR, and I have contributed to research, teaching, and student mentoring in biochemistry.
My achievements include developing a growing research profile in molecular disease investigation, publishing scholarly work, and supporting capacity building in molecular biosciences through teaching and academic mentorship
