About me

I am a healthcare professional with a background in Nursing and Nutrition and Dietetics, with a strong interest in public health and community development. I have led and contributed to initiatives focused on health education, including improving primary healthcare awareness and advancing menstrual health education among adolescent girls. Through programs like the Aspire Leaders Program, I have developed leadership, communication, and project management skills, which I apply to creating sustainable, community-based health solutions. My work is driven by a commitment to improving health outcomes and empowering underserved populations through education and advocacy.

I am a healthcare professional with a dual background in Nursing and Nutrition and Dietetics, driven by a strong commitment to improving health outcomes through education, prevention, and community-based interventions. My training equips me with a multidisciplinary perspective, allowing me to address health challenges from both clinical and public health standpoints.

My work is centered on advancing health education and strengthening primary healthcare systems, particularly in underserved communities. I have contributed to initiatives focused on improving awareness, management, and service delivery within Primary Health Centres (PHCs), with the goal of reducing preventable illnesses and promoting early health-seeking behaviors.

I am also the founder of the Nurse Dietitian consult, a health-focused platform aimed at providing accessible, practical health and nutrition information, extending my impact beyond physical communities into the digital space. Through this platform, I promote informed decision-making and preventive health practices.

One of my key projects, “Flow With Confidence,” is a structured menstrual health education initiative designed for secondary school girls. The program integrates education, practical demonstrations, and resource distribution to address menstrual hygiene challenges, reduce stigma, and empower adolescent girls with knowledge and confidence.

Beyond my project work, I have held leadership and service roles with international reach. I currently serve as an ALX Ambassador, a multinational position where I support and engage a diverse community of learners across different countries. I also volunteered as a moderator for the Aspire Leaders Program, a multinational volunteer role through which I provided guidance, peer support, and facilitated engagement within a global learning community. These experiences have strengthened my cross-cultural communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

My contributions and experiences have equipped me with strong competencies in leadership, project management, health advocacy, and community engagement. I am particularly passionate about translating complex health information into simple, actionable knowledge that empowers individuals and communities.

I remain committed to leveraging my skills, leadership experience, and global exposure to contribute to impactful health and development initiatives, particularly those focused on equity, prevention, and sustainable community transformation.
