My degree in Geomatics Engineering introduced me to the exciting world of spatial data and its endless possibilities. I got hands-on experience with tools like GIS and remote sensing, learning how to analyze and visualize data to solve real-world problems. This interdisciplinary field combines elements of surveying, cartography, photogrammetry, and computer science to analyze and interpret spatial data. Whether it was mapping urban heat islands or assessing disaster risks, my studies showed me how geospatial technologies could make a real difference in areas like urban planning, environmental management, and beyond.
