About me
i worked on the significance of a cyanide detoxifying enzyme that was purified from a bacteria in isolated from fermented cassava. unfermented cassava is implicated in many diseases and disorders such as respiratory disorders and paralytic disorders like Konzo.
Priscilla Omowumi Akinsanya is a motivated oncology research assistant and biochemist with expertise in cancer proteostasis, molecular biochemistry, and translational oncology. She holds an MSc in Biochemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and has co-authored multiple publications in oncology and biochemistry. Priscilla currently works at Help in Time Consults, coordinating community-based cancer research projects, early detection initiatives, and patient support programs. She has extensive experience in laboratory research, protein purification, data analysis, and ethical research practices. Passionate about the ubiquitin–proteasome system (UPS) and mitochondrial enzyme rhodanese (TST) as therapeutic targets in breast cancer, she combines rigorous scientific expertise with leadership in mentoring, community engagement, and STEM outreach.
