About me
I am a Nigerian academic, data science researcher, and Ph.D. student with a strong focus on machine learning, educational technology, and medical imaging. As a lecturer at the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, my research explores the application of intelligent systems to societal and healthcare challenges, including youth unemployment, security, quality education, and early lung cancer prediction using deep learning. I am passionate about leveraging AI-driven solutions to advance research, innovation, and sustainable development in Nigeria and beyond.
I am Rukayat Tijani, an academic, researcher, and technology enthusiast who focuses on the exploration of the impact of artificial intelligence, data science, and advancements in educational technology. Motivated by advancing knowledge and finding solutions to practical problems using technology, I have established myself as a forward-thinking scholar with interests spanning machine learning, healthcare applications, educational technology, and sustainable development.
I am dedicated to academic growth through learning, guiding, and examining. My commitment to education is reflected in providing new ideas in digital education, and addressing the needs of students in gaining computational and logical ability to cope with an operational world.
I am a Ph. D. student of Lagos State University utilizing machine learning and deep learning methods to tackle societal and health care issues. I have organized papers on intelligent systems for education enhancement, youth empowerment, security strengthening, and health care prediction systems. Recently, I have been working on implementation of deep learning algorithm for early lung cancer detection using medical images. Outside of medical diagnosis, I also have different interests which includes using data-driven solutions to solve some of the social issues that we currently face such as unemployment, and proper access to high standards of education.
This is also evident in my work, which involves applying a cross-disciplinary approach (i. e. computer science, analytics and social impact) and several research areas such as professional development projects, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
My openness to research, continuous learning, and innovation makes me an emerging voice in the domain of data science and intelligent systems research. I am an analytical thinker, ambitious worker, and passionate about delivering high-quality results and research that helps make a difference between society and forward-thinking technology. My vision is to develop innovations leading to advancements in education, health-care and community development in Nigeria and around the world.
