I am Dr. Sahar Abdel-Moniem Nasef, a Renewable Energy Researcher and Head of the Solar Cell Fabrication & Energy Storage Technology Laboratory at the Electronics Research Institute (ERI), Egypt. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, and my academic background focuses on renewable and sustainable energy systems.
My research interests include photovoltaic device fabrication and characterization, hybrid PV systems integration, energy storage technologies, and AI-driven energy forecasting and intelligent control. I am actively engaged in bridging advanced research with practical implementation and technology transfer, contributing to sustainable energy solutions aligned with national and international development strategies

SUMMARYABOUT ACHIEVEMENT
A highly accomplished and passionate researcher in the field of renewable energy, with
more than 12 years of experience in research, education, and innovation. Currently the
Head of the Solar Cell Fabrication and Energy Storage Technologies Laboratory at the
Electronics Research Institute (ERI), where I lead research teams, supervise technical
training, and develop national-scale projects in photovoltaics, hybrid systems, and green
hydrogen. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering focused on hybrid PV-Wind system
modeling and intelligent control, and I actively contribute to technology transfer, startup
incubation, and scientific dissemination. With strong teaching skills, a collaborative
leadership style, and deep expertise in energy systems, I strive to empower future engineers
and accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy future in Egypt and beyond.
