About me

Dr. (Mrs.) Salisu Titilola Fausat (née Adedayo) holds a Ph.D., MSc, and BSc in Cell Biology and Genetics from the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria. She currently lectures in the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology at Olabisi Onabanjo University. Her expertise spans interdisciplinary fields including Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Toxicology, Phytotherapy, and Environmental Biology. She has mentored 1000 girls through '1000 Futures' and is presently focused on sustainable development goals research (SDGS 4 and 13) to help save the planet. During her NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) in 2008, she served as vice president of the Millennium Development Goals Community Development Services (MDG CDS) and was recognised as the” Best Corps Volunteer – Millennium Development Goals Advocacy Project” in Kebbi State, Nigeria. Dr. Salisu has delivered numerous scientific presentations and published articles at conferences both locally and internationally. She is happily married with children. Throughout her pursuits, she has consistently demonstrated perseverance, dedication, and hard work, even in the face of challenges. She is deeply passionate about learning, resilient to difficulties, and always seeks positive solutions to achieve her visions.
