Biological Systems and Organisms
The exploitation of Bacteriophages for bio-control applications in plant Agriculture. Specifically, my research focuses on the identification of bacteriophages to treat Banana Bacteria Wilt disease of the Banana food crop.

Current profession
Current professional activities type:ResearchTeachingAs a University Lecturer, I facilitate lectures and assess student performance through developing, invigilating and marking exams in the areas of Immunology, Serology, Cell biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Animal structure, diversity & physiology. This applies to both undergraduate and post-graduate students. In addition, I am involved in student research supervision at undergraduate and Master’s level. Other duties include the development of course modules and degree programs, coordination of the writing of grant proposals, development of the website content specifically for the Biological Science department and engagement in departmental administrative activities.
