Argentina

The Argentina National Chapter of OWSD was established in June 2025 and is hosted at the Facultad de Ciencias Naturales e Instituto Miguel Lillo of the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (IML-UNT) in San Miguel de Tucumán. The Argentina Chapter seeks to remove barriers to women’s full participation in science by tackling gender bias, limited resources, underrepresentation in leadership, and funding inequities through scholarships, mentorship, leadership training, networking events, and advocacy for equitable opportunities. There were 48 members in the National Chapter at the time of establishment.
