Dr. Elizabeth Elekwa is a dedicated medical biochemist and passionate researcher whose work bridges natural product chemistry and biomedical science. She explores the phytochemical composition, vitamin profile, antioxidant activity of Dialium guineense and its cytoprotective action against ethanol-induced ulcers and related biochemical changes. Her work integrates natural product chemistry with biomedical applications to promote health through plant-based therapeutics. She is also committed to mentoring young scientists, advancing women’s participation in science, and contributing to sustainable health innovations in Nigeria.
