About me
Sociologist with a master’s degree in Social Studies of Science (IVIC, Venezuela) and a PhD in Science and Technology Policy (PPG-PCT/DPCT/Unicamp, Brazil). The doctoral research focused on the production of knowledge and agrobiodiversity. Over 15 years of experience as a Project Coordinator/Manager, including project design and execution in the public and non-profit sectors at local, regional, and national scales. Background in developing indicators for evaluation and decision-making in management and public policies; socio-environmental development; climate, change; sustainability; information and communication technologies, with a focus on digital inclusion; and monitoring and facilitating processes for community-based social organizations. Teaching experience at postgraduate and graduate levels, as well as in popular education.
Special skills include developing effective communication processes, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict management. Also experienced in drafting technical and specialized reports, as well as other high-level documents. Demonstrates a high degree of discretion and responsibility in handling confidential information, the ability to anticipate problems, and the confidence to move forward. Strong disposition for team-work and continuous learning, with a willingness to relocate.
