About me

Dr. Michelle Teo Yee Mun is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, UCSI University, Malaysia, whose research focuses on molecular oncology, antibody engineering, and vaccine development to advance targeted cancer therapies and novel immunotherapeutics. Her work addresses the challenges of improving health and wellbeing through innovative cancer treatments and infectious disease vaccines, promoting equity in science and technology by pursuing accessible and sustainable biotechnological solutions, and strengthening capacity building by mentoring young scientists and championing research integrity within the scientific community.

Dr. Michelle Teo Yee Mun is an Assistant Professor at UCSI University, Malaysia, specializing in molecular oncology, antibody engineering, and vaccine development. She has published widely on targeted cancer therapies and immunotoxins, secured national research grants, and received awards such as the APRI 2023 Travel Award. She currently serves as a mentor for the Women in Higher Education Fellowship 2025 and as Chairperson of the YSN-ASM Strategy Committee for Science Integrity, while continuing to champion global health, equitable biotechnology, and the mentoring of young scientists.
