About me
Dr Oluwayemisi Dorcas Olaniyan is an experienced plant taxonomist and academic with expertise in botanical nomenclature, molecular systematics, biodiversity conservation, and bioinformatics. She holds a Ph.D. in Botany from the University of Johannesburg, focusing on the systematics and molecular evolution of Thymelaeaceae in southern Africa. She is a member of the International Association of Plant Taxonomists (IAPT) and the South African Association of Botanists (SAAB).
